A self-supported trip created by guest-paddler Trip Overview We started out this river trip at Jacoby Road Launch, Morris Bean Reserve, Greene County Park District on river left. When we first put in there was a large strainer just upstream. This must of been the river trying to forewarn us. more on that later.

The 23-acre park is situated just a few miles east of US-68, north of Xenia, south of Yellow Springs, and west of Clifton. Primary access is from the south (Clifton Road to the northwest on Jacoby Road).
